Mabuhay Energy Corporation (MECO) strengthens its presence in the retail food sector as 60 franchisee-operated stores have switched to Mabuhay Energy under the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP). These stores are operated by franchisee companies and are branded under the Jollibee Group, including Jollibee, Chowking, Red Ribbon, and Greenwich.

The Retail Aggregation Program allows qualified customers to combine electricity demand and meet the required threshold to participate in the competitive electricity market and choose their preferred supplier, like Mabuhay Energy. This enables participating stores to improve energy cost efficiency and manage electricity expenses more effectively.

Mabuhay Energy has been serving these stores in Metro Manila since 2025, with additional locations currently undergoing the switching process. Through this program, the stores gain better control of power consumption while maintaining uninterrupted operations. Mabuhay Energy ensures a seamless switching process, from coordination to implementation, with no disruption to daily store activities and no impact on performance.

With multiple locations operating under established food brands, the transition highlights how aggregated facilities can now access opportunities in the competitive electricity market, supported by the improved 100 kW threshold set by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

Mabuhay Energy continues to power businesses across all scales, from MSMEs to large enterprises. We make access to competitive electricity supply simple and efficient, helping companies improve operational efficiency, manage energy costs, and participate in programs available in the retail electricity market.
