What is Inverter Technology?
Inverter technology is a type of motor control that uses a variable frequency drive (VFD) to control the speed of an electric motor. This allows the motor to operate at the most efficient speed for the given load, which can lead to significant energy savings.
How does Inverter Technology work?
Fixed-speed Aircon Compressor (Traditional air conditioner): Only has 2 settings: On and Off
Aircon Compressor With Variable Frequency Drive (Inverter air conditioner): Not limited to fixed settings
Is it good to leave your inverter ACs on the whole day?
The short answer is no. The inverter air conditioner unit of your home still consumes a large amount of electricity to function. The longer the air conditioner operates, the higher its energy consumption will be.
