To maintain the power grid, an Automatic Load Dropping (ALD) was initiated when GNPD 2 tripped, but it later came back online. Here's the day-to-day breakdown: Jul 23: Sunday - Tropical Storm "Egay" is estimated east of Catanduanes and continues to bring heavy rains throughout the country. Jul 24: Monday - Tropical Storm "Egay" is estimated east of Baler. Jul 25: Tuesday - Tropical Storm "Egay" is estimated east of Cagayan while the Bacman-Daraga 230 kV line tripped.
