Weekly Rundown: The southwest monsoon continues to bring scattered heavy rainfall to the country throughout the week. Average electricity demand in the Luzon-Visayas grid went to as high as 12,246 MW while average electricity prices go down to as low as Php 4.74 per kwH. Here's the day-to-day breakdown: Aug 13: Sunday - Ilijan Unit 2 and Sta. Rita Module 10 came back online. Aug 14: Monday - San Manuel Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) 69kV line was restored. Aug 15: Tuesday - San Gabriel tripped then came back online while Masinloc Unit 3 was online and then later tripped. Aug 16: Wednesday - SLPGC Unit 1 was online and Masinloc Unit 3 came back online. Aug 17: Thursday - Kalayaan Unit 4 tripped then later came back online. SLPGC Unit 1 also tripped. Mariveles-GNPD 500kV line 2 was de-energized. Aug 18: Friday - Mariveles-GNPD 500kV line 2 was restored while Sta. Rita Module 30 and 40 shutdown. Aug 19: Saturday - Mexico-Quezon 230kV line auto-tripped.
