Easterlies estimated in South Luzon brought warm and humid weather to the region. Electricity demand and prices went up this past week with the average electricity demand in the Luzon-Visayas grid reaching as high as 11,878 MW while average electricity prices went down to as low as Php 4.06 per kwH. Here's the day-to-day breakdown: Nov 10: Friday - Easterlies estimated in South Luzon. Nov 11: Saturday - Northeast monsoon affected Northern Luzon. Sta. Rita shutdown. Nov 12: Sunday - Sheer line estimated in Central Luzon brought rainfall to the region while the Northeast monsoon continued to affect Northern Luzon. Nov 13: Monday - Sheer line still estimated in Central Luzon while the Northeast monsoon continued to affect Northern and Central Luzon. Nov 14: Tuesday - Northeast monsoon affected Northern and Central Luzon, bringing scattered rainfall. SLPGC Unit 1 & 2 tripped. Nov 15: Wednesday - Ilijan GT2-1 and Ilijan ST1 tripped then came online while Ilijan GT1-1 shutdown. Nov 16: Thursday - Ilijan GT2-1, Bacman Unit 1, 2, and 3 tripped while Ilijan GT1-1 was online.
