Weekly Rundown: The northeast monsoon and sheer line continued to bring scattered heavy rainfall affecting Luzon’s Northern and Central regions. Easterlies estimated in South Luzon brought warm and humid weather to the region. Electricity demand and prices went up this past week with the average electricity demand in the Luzon-Visayas grid reaching as high as 11,878 MW while average electricity prices went down to as low as Php 4.06 per kwH. Here's the day-to-day breakdown: Nov 10: Friday - Easterlies estimated in South Luzon. Nov 11: Saturday - Northeast monsoon affected Northern Luzon. Sta. Rita shutdown. Nov 12: Sunday - Sheer line estimated in Central Luzon brought rainfall to the region while the Northeast monsoon continued to affect Northern Luzon. Nov 13: Monday - Sheer line still estimated in Central Luzon while the Northeast monsoon continued to affect Northern and Central Luzon. Nov 14: Tuesday - Northeast monsoon affected Northern and Central Luzon, bringing scattered rainfall. SLPGC Unit 1 & 2 tripped. Nov 15: Wednesday - Ilijan GT2-1 and Ilijan ST1 tripped then came online while Ilijan GT1-1 shutdown. Nov 16: Thursday - Ilijan GT2-1, Bacman Unit 1, 2, and 3 tripped while Ilijan GT1-1 was online.
