Weekly Rundown: Electricity demand and prices remained relatively stable this past week with the average electricity demand in the Luzon-Visayas grid reaching as low as 9,842 MW while average electricity prices went down to as low as Php 1.58 per kwH. Meanwhile, the shear line and northeast monsoon continued to bring scattered rainfall to the Northern and Southern regions of Luzon. Here's the day-to-day breakdown: Nov 24: Friday - The sheer line brought rainfall to Southern Luzon. Sta. Rita Module 30 and 40 shut down and then later came back online due to their unit tuning for LNG commissioning. San Gabriel shut down for a planned outage while SLPGC Unit 2 shut down due to an unplanned outage. Nov 25: Saturday - The sheer line continued to bring rainfall to Southern Luzon. Easterlies were estimated in South Luzon. SCPC Unit 2 shut down. Nov 26: Sunday - Northeast monsoon brought rainfall to Northern and southern Luzon. SCPC Unit 2 tripped and then later came back online after an unplanned outage. Sta. Rita Module 30 shut down then came back online after a planned outage. Nov 27: Monday - Northeast Monsoon continued to bring rainfall to Northern Luzon. San Gabriel shutdown- LNG commissioning Nov 28: Tuesday - SBPL shut down due to an unplanned outage while San Gabriel was online then shut down for a planned outage. Nov 29: Wednesday - Easterlies were estimated in South Luzon. SLPGC 2 came online after an unplanned outage. Nov 30: Thursday - San Gabriel online then shut down due to an unplanned outage while Sual Unit 2 shut down for a planned outage.
