We've compiled the Luzon and Visayas average electricity prices and demand per day, along with the power plant activities that occurred each day. We also include environmental factors that may affect our electricity prices and demand. Weekly Rundown: The average electricity demand and price remain relatively stable throughout the week. The average electricity demand in the Luzon-Visayas grid reached as high as 11,058 MW while average electricity prices went down to as low as Php 3.74 per kwH. The monsoon and shear line brought light to moderate scattered rainfall to the region throughout the week. Here's the day-to-day breakdown: Jan 19: Friday - Northeast monsoon brought scattered rainfall to the Luzon region. San Lorenzo Module 60 was online from an unplanned outage and then shut down from a planned outage. SBPL was online after a planned outage. Jan 20: Saturday - SBPL tripped then later came back online after an unplanned outage. Jan 21: Sunday - Northeast monsoon brought scattered rainfall to the Luzon region. Jan 22: Monday - Sta. Rita Module 30 tripped then came back online from an unplanned outage. Jan 23: Tuesday - Northeast monsoon brought scattered rainfall to the Luzon region. Jan 24: Wednesday - Ilijan ST2 shut down due to a planned outage. Kalayaan Unit 4 tripped from an unplanned outage. Ilijan GT2 - 1 shut down due to a planned outage. Jan 25: Thursday - The shear line estimated at the Eastern region brought scattered rainfall. Fl: The commissioning and energization of Cagayan North Solar Power Plant as Load was completed.
