We've compiled the Luzon average electricity prices and demand per day, along with the power plant activities that occurred each day. We also include environmental factors that may affect our electricity prices and demand. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: The average market prices and demand slightly decreased resulting in lower prices. Moreover, the easterly weather system brought warmer temperatures affecting the country. The average electricity demand in the Luzon grid went up to as high as 11,700 MW while average electricity prices went to as low as Php 4.92 per kwH. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: May 3: Friday - Easterlies affecting the country. May 4: Saturday - Easterlies affecting the country. San Gabriel shutdown and then went online from a Forced Outage while San Lorenzo 60 tripped from a Force Outage. May 5: Sunday - Easterlies affecting the country. San Gabriel shut down and then went online from a Forced Outage. May 6: Monday - Easterlies affecting the country. NGCP issued a Yellow Alert status for Luzon Grid. May 7: Tuesday - Easterlies affecting the country. San Lorenzo 60 went online from a Forced Outage while San Gabriel shut down and then went online from a Forced Outage. May 8: Wednesday - Easterlies affecting the country. May 9: Thursday - Easterlies affecting the country.
