We've compiled the Luzon average electricity prices and demand per day, along with the power plant activities that occurred each day. We also include environmental factors that may affect our electricity prices and demand. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: The average market demand remains stable while the average market price decreased this past week following the effects of the Southwest Monsoon in the country. The Southwest Monsoon brought frequent rainfall and lower temperatures to the region. The average electricity demand in the Luzon grid went down to as low as 9,984 MW while average electricity prices went to as low as Php 3.78 per kWh. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: June 14: Friday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Mindanao. EERI Unit 1 online then shutdown (Ongoing Testing and Commissioning). San Gabriel online from Reserve Shutdown. June 15: Saturday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the country. Southwest Monsoon affected the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao. San Gabriel offline then came back online (Reserve Shutdown). EERI 1 online - (Ongoing Testing and Commissioning) June 16: Sunday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. EERI 1 shutdown (Ongoing Testing and Commissioning) June 17: Monday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. San Gabriel offline (Reserve Shutdown). Pagbilao 1 shut down due to an Unplanned Outage. EERI Unit 1 online (Ongoing Testing and Commissioning) June 18: Tuesday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. San Gabriel online (Reserve Shutdown) June 19: Wednesday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. San Lorenzo Module 50 tripped from 161MW load (Unplanned Outage). San Lorenzo Module 60 shut down from an Unplanned Outage. San Gabriel shutdown (Reserve Shutdown).
