We've compiled the Luzon average electricity prices and demand per day, along with the power plant activities that occurred each day. We also include environmental factors that may affect our electricity prices and demand. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: The average market demand remains stable while the average market price decreased this past week following the effects of the Southwest Monsoon in the country. The Southwest Monsoon brought frequent rainfall and lower temperatures to the region while towards the end of the week, the Easterly winds brought warm and humid weather to the country. The average electricity demand in the Luzon grid went down to as low as 9,919 MW while average electricity prices went to as low as Php 3.55 per kWh. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: June 21: Friday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Mindanao. EERI Unit 1 online then shutdown (Ongoing Testing and Commissioning). San Gabriel shut down then came back online from an Unplanned Outage. June 22: Saturday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the country. San Gabriel shut down from an Unplanned Outage. Pagbilao Unit 1 came online from an Unplanned Outage. June 23: Sunday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the country. San Gabriel came online then shut down from an Unplanned Outage. June 24: Monday - Southwest Monsoon affecting the country. June 25 - 26: Tuesday to Wednesday- Easterlies affecting the country. June 27: Thursday - Easterlies affecting the country. QPPL and Masinloc Unit 2 shut down from an Unplanned Outage.
