𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: The average market demand and price decreased slightly this past week following the effects of the Southwest Monsoon Low-pressure Area and Typhoon “Carina” in the country, which brought heavy rainfall and lower temperatures. The average electricity demand in the Luzon grid went down to as low as 7,942 MW while average electricity prices went to as low as Php 2.46 per kWh. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: July 19: Friday - Low-Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 135 km West Southwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. Meanwhile, another LPA was estimated based on all available data at 880 km East of Eastern Visayas.
