We also include environmental factors that may affect our electricity prices and demand. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧: The average market demand and price increased slightly this past week. The higher derated capacity of power plants from the previous week led to higher prices in the market. The average electricity demand in the Luzon grid went up to as high as 10,898 MW while average electricity prices went to as high as Php 10.33 per kWh.
