Did you know that the Helios Solar Power Plant in Cadiz, Negros Occidental is the largest solar power facility in the Philippines? It is also one of the largest solar power facilities in Southeast Asia! It has a capacity of 132.5 megawatts (MW), which is enough to power over 100,000 homes. The plant is located on 176 hectares (430 acres) of land with over 400,000 solar panels to generate over 300 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per year.
