(EPI) through its subsidiaries, Jobin-SQM Inc. (JSI) and Northern Palawan Power Generation Corporation (NPPGC). Signed on March 18, 2025, at NAC Tower in Taguig City, this milestone expands MECO’s renewable energy portfolio and enhances its ability to deliver affordable, reliable power. These collaborations strengthen MECO’s ability to deliver reliable solar power to its partner consumers while advancing its commitment to a diverse and sustainable energy portfolio that meets the rising demand for clean energy. Under the agreement, MECO will source solar energy from JSI’s Subic Solar Facility and NPPGC’s Cawag Solar Plant. By integrating these sources, MECO ensures a stable, efficient, and cost-effective supply while advancing its mission to reduce carbon footprints and accelerate the transition to renewable energy. For the past five years, MECO has been rapidly expanding its energy portfolio, strengthening its efforts to advocate for sustainability.
