Mabuhay Energy and the other members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry ’s Energy and Power Committee met with Department of Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla to discuss the status of the Philippine Energy Sector. During the meeting, Mabuhay Energy enthusiastically endorsed the Philippine National Renewable Energy Program (NREP).
The NREP sets a target of 35% renewable energy share in the Philippine power generation mix by 2030, with an aspiration to increase this figure to 50% by 2040.
