Ang RES (Retail Electricity Supplier) ay lisensyadong supplier ng kuryente sa ilalim ng RCOA. Hindi ito solar panel o net-metering. Para mag-switch, maghahanda ka ng ilang dokumento at pipirma ng Retail Supply Contract (RSC). Mga 90 araw ang proseso, at walang power interruption: pareho pa rin ang linya ng iyong distribution utility.
Anong mga dokumento ang kailangan para mag-switch?
Karamihan sa regulatory filing ay inihahanda at isinusumite ng napili mong Retail Electricity Supplier (ang iyong Primary RES) para sa iyo, sa pamamagitan ng Switch Request Form (SRF) na isinusumite sa IEMOP (ang Central Registration Body). Ang mga kailangan sa ilalim ng rules:
- Switch Request Form (SRF): isinusumite ng iyong Primary RES sa IEMOP nang hindi bababa sa 7 working days bago ang switch date
- Nomination and Assignment of Primary Retail Supplier: pipirmahan mo; isinasama ito ng RES mo sa SRF
- Notarized attestations (ikaw, ang DU/NSP, at ang metering service provider)
- Proof of authority ng mga pipirma (hal. board resolution o secretary’s certificate)
- Metering requirements (Metering Installation Registration Form)
- Prudential at security requirements
- Walang outstanding balance sa DU/NSP (o may napagkasunduang payment arrangement)
May penalty ba kapag na-cancel ang kontrata?
May 5-business-day cooling-off (limang business days mula sa pagpirma ng Retail Supply Contract) pagkatapos pumirma. Pagkalipas nito, ang anumang early-termination fee o penalty ay nakasaad sa iyong RSC. Iba-iba ito kada kontrata, kaya basahin nang mabuti ang termino bago pumirma. Walang single na “RCOA penalty”; ang kontrata mo ang batayan.
Gaano katagal, at maaapektuhan ba ang kuryente ko?
Mga 90 araw. Kailangan mong magbigay ng notice sa iyong distribution utility nang hindi bababa sa 90 calendar days bago ang target switch date. Hindi maaapektuhan ang kuryente mo dahil pareho pa rin ang linya ng DU; ang supply contract lang ang nagbabago.
